2. What are the downsides of going to a store?
- Most retail stores have a per customer limit on the total amount of gift cards they can activate, which can make it difficult to purchase larger quantities at one location.
- Gift cards purchased in stores must be activated one at a time at the register. For large orders, this can take a significant amount of time and may require multiple visits.
- The store is unlikely to have the number of cards or denominations you want to order, which means you would have to travel to multiple stores to have the cards you want activated.

4. How can I pay for my order?
- You can pay by using EFT (electronic funds transfer), wire transfer ($17.50 fee), or credit card (4% surcharge).
5. How are the physical cards shipped?
- We ship our cards in registered mail with our courier.
- We can ship the gift cards using standard shipping ($34.99), or express shipping (cost based on order weight).
6. Is there a shipping charge for digital gift cards?
- No, there is no shipping for digital products since they are delivered electronically to your email.
7. Are the physical cards activated when they are shipped?
- No. We ship our gift cards deactivated. That means your order is safe from our warehouse to your location.
- We will only activate the gift cards when you want us to. There are no deadlines, no pressure, just peace of mind.
8. How are the physical cards activated?
- You let us know when you want the cards activated with a click of the button on our website.
- We will have them ready for use within 1-3 business hours.
9. How are digital gift card delivered?
- They are delivered via email. When ordering you can choose from amongst several options:
- a) Bulk file. This means you will get a password protected zip file containing the redemption URL. You can then distribute these as you wish.
- b) Individual emails. Choosing this option means you enter the email address you wish to directly receive the digital gift card.
10. How do I redeem a digital gift card?
- When you receive your digital order from us, what you are receiving is a redemption URL. It is not yet the gift card. When the recipient clicks on the URL they must enter their email address and then a one-time verification code. After that their digital gift will be provided in the browser window.
11. Why do I have to complete Know Your Business (KYB) before I can order gift cards?
- In order to comply with Canadian government regulations for the financial product industry, all clients must complete the KYB.
9. Do the gift cards expire?
- Gift cards have an expiry date, but even if your card expires, the money loaded onto the card never expires.
- You will simply request a replacement card.
10. What happens if I have a problem with my gift cards?
- You will have a dedicated member of the Gift[it] team who will assist you in solving your gift card problems.
